APS is a psychiatric emergency department open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, for anyone experiencing a mental health or emotional crisis. We provide assessment, intervention, and referral.

Fairview Southdale Hospital offers a healing approach to mental health care where people in crisis receive expert treatment tailored to their needs in a calming environment. Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment and Healing (EmPATH) allows for rapid access to support and stabilization.

Crisis Text Line serves anyone, in any type of crisis, providing access to free, 24/7 support via mediums people already use and trust. A live, trained volunteer Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool calm.

The Cope mobile crisis team can come to where you are. Cope responds to anyone in Hennepin County who needs an urgent response—individuals, families or communities.

Cope has bi-lingual and bi-cultural staff available for face-to-face, phone, and video visits and uses interpreters when needed.
