Testimonials
The RISE program has been a safe place for residents. The providers are readily available to help.
Rise mental health was there for me when I needed it the most.
Having a safe outlet and a professional environment where I learn to cope with general life stressors has been useful. I appreciate that it is so accessible as well. It has also made me more productive and effective.
I am so proud of my story because it brought me hope, joy, and inner peace. I am no longer at war with myself, so I am no longer distracted from my dedication to becoming the best physician that I can be.
The treatment was integrated; it wasn’t just a pill. I benefited from psychiatric care as well as psychological therapy. The skills I learned in behavioral therapy ought to be learned by all residents, not only those seeking mental health.
It was like getting an operation manual for my brain. It gave me some space between myself and my thoughts. I think that has been incredibly helpful.

Psychiatrist Services Outside of Hennepin Healthcare
For those who prefer to be seen by a psychiatrist outside Hennepin, here are some options:
1. Contact Dr. Goelz (RISE PCP at RISE-Primary Care on TelmedIQ) to determine if she can prescribe psychiatric medications or if specialty care by a psychiatrist is needed. If so, she can help connect you to a community referral.
2. Ellie Mental Health is a welcoming and confidential environment for physicians to access high-quality mental health care. Appointments are offered in-person and via telehealth and are typically scheduled within one week of initial contact.
- Call Ellie Mental Health at (651) 313-8080 and ask for the “Empower” physician clinic with Dr. Jasberg.
- Send a TelmedIQ message to RISE- Psychiatry or RISE – Primary Care for access to an online link to Ellie Mental Health.
This clinic is recommended for psychiatry residents seeking medication management, allowing them to receive care outside of their own program’s faculty
